added at the other end of the desk. This unit was created as a tower
structure used to string wire across the back end of the desk, which
enabled pictures and drawings to be attached and hanged on the wires.
The tower's second function is a coat rack and a stand for the t-square
and triangles. The tower was created using wooden dowels connected by
wire at the top and fitted into 4 holes drilled through a piece of wood
at the base. The desk piece uses no nails or screws, creating a free-standing
