about me

This website is a collection of some of my work. I graduated from studies at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2007 with a master degree in architecture.

Going to school in Detroit has allowed me to study architecture in the context of an urban environment that presents unique challenges but also unique opportunities.

I am interested in the world I live in and how it works. Careful observation is the beginning of an informed and critical design process that attempts to creatively address issues of concern. I am always interested in how to develop and apply my skills to make a difference in the community I am a part of.

I was most recently working as an intern architect with HOK Architects Corp. in Toronto; where I have been actively engaged in the different phases of a project - from schematic design to construction document production and the implementation of construction administration.

I have a variety of technical skills which includes an advanced level of 3-D building information modelling (BIM) with software such as Revit. Most recently I have been involved in large, complex projects under a fast-tracked schedule where Revit was used in the production of the drawings and coordination of various consultants.

I am currently participating in the Intern Architect Program through the Ontario Association of Architects, and am in the process of completing the requirements towards licensure.

Currently, I am looking for a full-time employment opportunity with an architectural design and/or engineering company.
